The Museum of New Mexico Foundation ShopsThe Museum of New Mexico Foundation Shops (MNMF Shops) is the retail operation of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. The MNMF Shops are located in four museums in Santa Fe, New Mexico: Palace of the Governors, New Mexico Museum of Art, Museum of International Folk Art and Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. The shops have operated in the Museum of New Mexico since 1965 when they started operations in a small corner in the basement of the Museum of Fine Arts. The MNMF Shops, as part of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation, contribute all net income derived from the sale of merchandise in the shops, back to the MNM Foundation for distribution to the four museums in which they operate. These distributions take the form of block grants from the MNM Foundation back to the museums for education and acquisititions.
